Pre-night out lip perfection.

It's all about the lips! In winter our lips are put through hell, with numerous nights out, hot drinks and just the weather everyone's lips are chapped. Being allergic to Lush's Lip exfoliator, which i have heard both good and bad reviews. So, this winter i was determined to find a exfoliant that i could use and it just happens to be the simplest thing i have ever heard!

Pre-night out look.

This is my go to lip for nights out so I prep my lips with home made lip scrub, made with stuff you'd find in your kitchen cupboard and beauty kit.

  • Grab some Vaseline and a little pinch of sugar.
  • Use a cue tip to take some of the Vaseline and pop it in the lid.
  • Add a quater of a tea spoon of sugar and mix.
  • If the mixture is runny or quite soft then ad more sugar. The mixture needs quite a lot of sugar to exfoliate the lips well.
  • Massage the home made product on to you lips in circular motions, remembering not to rub to hard other wise you will make your lips sore.
  • Once all the lips area has been covered remove with a make up wipe and Va La! Smooth and healthy lips ready for the numerous glasses of wine to be consumed!
Healthy and smooth, simple and easy perfect for every one! Yay!

Wardrobe Junkie...

Like many other women, when they have a major change in there life they change their style, hair and make up. So the past few days I made a hair appointment, made a killer wishlist on every website known to man and failed a cut crease.

Maybe changing the way you look will change your out look on life? Obviously not but intend to give it a go.

Bomber Jacket's for all!

Pay day hurry up!
I am so in love with bomber jackets. Mainly, black and khaki. One of my favorites out there at the moment is from Misguided, £25 (what a bargain), Its definitely perfect with a pair of black jeans and healed boots. What a dream.

Slightly thinner but very similar.
The jacket holds it's simple structure quite well, with elastic cuff's and neckline. This soft structure allows for a casual feel to the jacket, making it the perfect 'chuck and run'  jacket.

Misguided, also has a £20 bomber, which is slightly thinner and losses the
overall look. And let's face it in England we need as much warmth as we can get.

Others on the High street.

Other than my all time favorite, I love the Khaki, New Look Bomber. And it has pockets, which surprisingly many don't, there just for show. I mean, I'd happily pay a few more pounds for a pocket or two in a jacket. This Khaki Bomber, with an elastic neckline and  cuff's. Like Misguided's bomber the jacket is a key wardrobe essential for the tricky English weather.

(No picture because it hasn't arrived yet )

Letting life pass you by.

There's nothing more frustrating than sitting watching the world get engaged, travel or just generally move on. Whilst, your sat in your room, feeling low and generally eating yourself into a coma. With you're best friends Ben and Jerry: possibly the only men your need in your life, right ? The idea of  the 'tomorrow' we've all been dreaming off, sounds a dream to all.

I get it. No boyfriend, no signs of adult hood and barely keeping down a low paid job. It sucks. This unbelievable feeling seems to be hitting most sing 18-27 year old's across the UK. Well guys, girls and who ever else is listening don't your not on  your own.

Some times you have to take the bull by the horns.

'Don't need a man to be a Queen' - Anon.

What are you doing right now, other than reading? Do you love your job? Are you going on the trip you've always wanted to take ?  No? Don't fret, your breathing your here, in the moment. So start living in it. By all means this is not self help blog, I can barely help myself in a day to day scenario, but why are we all so scared to do the personal things we want to do?

This month I challenge you to do one thing for you and trust me it will help get you out of your little funk. So go on, book that trip, look for a new job. It's never too late.

Do I do as I preach?

Many of you may feel like this is silly but I recently went to a psychic,  currently I'm torn with which path my lifes going in. It has always been a personal goal of mine to go and see some one who communicates with others that aren't here anymore (if you don't believe in this just bare with me), yet  I never thought I was strong enough to do it. But I did.

Personally my goals are still in motion for this year. Maybe the diets hasn't gone to plan but I am giving it a go, its always hard when somethings changing, life's never easy but surely that's how you know the good from the bad ?

My debt is well under way for being paid off a soon as financially possible, my social life is proof of that! I have currently been working, sleeping and working a little more. I will get there in the end.

Pass my driving test. Yeap, that's still to do...

In the process of all of this i have added a monthly goal to my list of goals for 2016, having more me time. This is incredibly important as whilst your aiming for something you can get lost in the process of it all. Having a night or a day a week will always allow for growth within yourself a little time out to clear your head with your favorite book, film or wine, will always rejuvenate you.

Hope this helps a little.
