So for a while I've been questioning the quality of Benefit, surely paying more than what i pay for most food shops for a few products was a little excessive? So a friend of mine bought me a gift set of Benefit products to try and convert me to a Benebabe. And i have to say it worked.
After initially trying the 'Do the bright thing' gift pack which is specifically designed to aid the creation of a flawless face seen on celebs and models alike, i have to say the pack didn't decipoint. Unlike most highlighters and concealers Benefit's High Beam Highlighter creates a flawless look especially for those eye bags. Combining High Beam with Benefit's They're Real mascara creates a natural look which will definitely turn a few heads. One thing which proved evident with all the products in the gift set was how light all Benefit's products are, after years of using heavy concealers and mascaras which basically did nothing but look cloggy and give me dry skin! I can honestly say I am converted.
Having a signature cat flick eye Benefits waterproof eyeliner not only displayed high levels of durability but needed only a slight touch up (after a major spout of hay fever... urgh summer). I also created a subtle day look with the waterproof eyeliner on my lash line, it stayed all day with minimal smudging (hay fever to blame for that one too). Basically hay fever or not this eyeliner is worth its weight in gold!
The "It girl" face primer is amazing, not only does it aid the cover up of blemishes , spot and other nasties, it smells so fresh ! Using the primer created a clear base which aided the application of foundation.And the final but no way least product within the gift set is the Dandelion brightening face powder,the final touch in the fight against dull skin. Creating a clear and refreshing complexions
, for all skin types.
Thanks to my friend and the quality of the products its official, just call me Benebabe from now on....
